Beneath the surface_"What is in you?”
Photographs of her ceramic Shiru are reconfigured into new digital artworks. Pushing the boundaries of traditional photography, these semi-plana-abstract, painting-like images evoke a deep state of meditation through their semi-compositional colour and form. Creating these works allowed the artist to reach within herself and take a step further on the path to enlightenment. To the artist, nothing is uni-dimensional: “As much as it is empty, it is full; as much as it is non-existent, it is present.”
