Seon uses a diverse range of mediums to mirror her childhood experiences. She was inspired by the growth of sprouts, which she observed as a child. In a small space, each tiny stalk struggles, attaches, grows, and intertwines. In this way, sprouts represent the everyday experience of life. The yellow burst of a sprout is as magical as the rising sun in the final stages of growth. Through the sprouts, the artist hopes to show the "light of existence" that lies within the memories and emotions that have blossomed in the mind.
