Embodying Transformation
Through observing bean sprouts growing inside the traditional Korean vessel siru, she explores the idea that creation emerges through contrast. The sprouts develop in darkness before appearing as bright yellow shoots, symbolizing the emergence of light from within obscurity. This process serves as a central inspiration for her work, which seeks to visually express transformation and change.

Seon's practice focuses on transforming emotional states into creative energy. By engaging with both positive and challenging experiences, she reflects on how change can become a driving force for growth. Rather than avoiding difficulty, she considers it an essential condition for discovery and renewal.

Through this perspective, she hopes her work not only reflects her own process of transformation but also encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences of change and growth. For her, transformation is an ongoing process that reveals new possibilities and continues to shape her artistic practice.
