Her work begins with a journey of exploring her identity, during which she encounters the deeply rooted Korean sentiment within her. This sentiment is grounded in the natural philosophy and worldview of the Yin-Yang and Five Elements, through which she delves into the duality of light and darkness—forces that are opposing yet interconnected. Light symbolises hope, renewal, and positive energy, while darkness represents transformation, healing, and growth. These elements are not separate; rather, darkness nurtures growth, and light reveals it, creating a natural cycle in the process.
